Cooking Well with Diabetes

About this Class:

Cooking Well with Diabetes is an online cooking school class designed to help people with diabetes and anyone that prepares food for them. This four-lesson course includes basic nutrition education to help plan meals and prepare food for people living with Diabetes. Find quick diabetic dinner ideas and recipes that will help you cook well with diabetes.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognize carbohydrate foods and plan balanced and satisfying meals
  • Reduce fat in the recipes you use and increase the use of healthier fats
  • Alter recipes to improve sodium and fiber content
  • Take steps to celebrate holidays and festivities sensibly
