Andrea Valdez, M.P.H.
Ms. Valdez has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas and a Master’s of Public Health degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health. Ms. Valdez assists in the 4-H Food Show, 4-H Fashion Show, and other 4-H contests. Ms. Valdez serves as the County Administrator and is responsible for the relationship between AgriLife Extension and Hidalgo County government. She also coordinates the activities of the Leadership Advisory Board, provides training for Administrative Assistants, and provides interpretation of Hidalgo County Extension programs to stakeholders.
